About Port Canaveral
In 1982, the Scandinavian Sea became Port Canaveral’s first home cruise ship, offering
a "cruise to nowhere" in the Atlantic Ocean. Today, cruising giants such as Carnival,
Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean International dock here, and Port Canaveral's Cruise Terminal
has become the second busiest port in the world. Just recently, the Disney Dream,
the third ship in the Disney Cruise Lines fleet, made its maiden voyage.
